Whispering Pines Siberian is a celebrated Siberian Cat Breeder based in Saukville WI. We have been breeding cats since 2021, with a focus on making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible. We strive to breed the best cats we can, educate their new owners and ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve. Hypoallergenic:
This ancient breed has a dense, medium, or large coat which grows thicker in cold weather. While there’s entirely no allergy-free cat, the Siberian has been found to have fewer levels of Fel d 1, which are primary protein allergens present in cats’ saliva. Due to these low quantities, Siberian Cats are often considered hypoallergenic
Despite this, small amounts of Fel d 1 can spark up allergies. There is no guarantee how someone will respond. We have had people very allergic to cats and have no problem with our kittens.
Siberians are Personable
Siberian cats are great companion cats: loyal, highly intelligent and well-attuned to their surroundings, and particularly their owner’s mood. You won’t find a cat breed that’s more willing to share their life with humans than a Siberian cat. A Siberian will meet you at the door when you come from work, will be eager to share your bed if allowed and will help you around the kitchen, especially if it earns them a treat.
Siberian Cats and Dogs
Speaking of Siberian cat personality, people often mention how much these cats are like dogs. Siberians have a very “dog-like” personality in terms of their loyalty, obedience and desire to please the owner. (You won’t find that in other cats…) Most of the time they like being obedient and are very cooperative! You can easily teach your Siberian the house rules and they will (for the most part) be happy to follow them.
